John Miller, Jennifer Garner’s boyfriend, believes that it is “not her job to fix” her ex-husband Ben Affleck’s marital problems: Report

Despite being divorced for a number of years, Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck’s lifestyles still periodically overlap. After more than ten years of marriage, the couple still has a close friendship while sharing parenting of their three children. Although Affleck and Jennifer Lopez recently tied the knot, talk of strife in paradise has Hollywood abuzz. Although Garner has allegedly been making an effort to support the couple, her current partner John Miller allegedly feels that “it’s not her responsibility.”

Rumours of Ben and Jen’s breakup are causing John Miller to counsel Jennifer Garner.
An insider told Daily Mail, “Of course it bothers John that Jen is so hyper-focused on her ex-husband.” The insider clarified, “He cares deeply for Ben and sympathises with what he is going through with Jennifer, but it doesn’t mean Jen should be the one to resolve her ex-husband’s issues with his current wife.” He emphasised that he believes Garner shouldn’t be held accountable for Ben’s marital problems. Nobody can see any sense in that.

Right now, Ben Affleck rents a $100,000-per-month home in Brentwood, not far from Garner’s area. His actions have intensified speculations about a breakup between the couple, who resumed their relationship in 2022. There are apparently issues in Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez’s marriage. Garner, who was seen visiting him and possibly giving counsel, was said to be trying to help the pair get back together. As per the sources, Garner’s reported fiancé is becoming frustrated with her attempts to ‘repair’ Affleck’s relationship with the Atlas star.

“It’s not Jen’s job to mediate disputes between JLO and Ben.”
In addition to Ben, Garner gets along well with Jenny From The Block, who reportedly asked her for assistance right before her marriage vows. According to earlier report from Daily Mail, “JLo has been confiding in Jen because she knows that she is one of the only people in the world who would understand what she is going through.”

But the source told the newspaper, “John doesn’t want anything more than Ben to be alright; his girlfriend shouldn’t be his babysitter.” Additionally, it is said that he thinks Ben should manage matters on his own and with his wife.

“Ben should tackle that with his wife and work it out on his own. He has told Jen that she is not responsible for it.

Ben and Jen’s breakup drama has no effect on the romance between Garner and Miller.
Another source who spoke with the British newspaper said that Miller is trying to stay out of the current situation with Affleck and stressed that it hasn’t harmed his relationship with Garner. He knows that the actress is an amazing mother and a friend who is solely focused on safeguarding her children, and is also available for Ben whenever he requires her support.

For those who don’t know, JLO and the Accountant star attended their son Samuel’s graduation ceremony at their Brentwood home yesterday, although they appeared to be keeping their distance from the school function. Garner was there both times as well. The couple did, however, keep their wedding bands prominently displayed, and supporters are hoping that things will improve between them soon.

“I went very dark for reasons I’d rather not explain, but I didn’t have a lot of light and life within me,” Jolie revealed, adding, “Your light’s dim,” as per E! News.

The actor, who is known for her work both on-screen and in humanitarian efforts, further explained that during this period, she “also just needed to be home more,” which limited her ability to take on long-term projects.

Jolie, who shares six children with ex-husband Brad Pitt, spoke candidly about the practical and emotional factors that influenced her choices during that time. “The choice of what to work on and when was not a creative choice, often, the last few years, but sometimes the practical choice,” she said, reflecting on the challenges of balancing personal and professional demands.

While her focus on family and personal recovery kept Jolie away from acting, she remained involved in other creative projects. In recent years, she co-produced the Broadway musical The Outsiders, which premiered in April 2024 and directed the war drama Without Blood, which was well-received at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival.

In addition to her own journey, Jolie has seen several of her children follow in her footsteps within the entertainment industry.

Her daughter Vivienne worked as her assistant on The Outsiders production, while sons Maddox and Pax were production assistants for Maria.
