When summer arrives, our favorite celebrities flee the city for a beach vacation. Malaika Arora, the original Bollywood fashionista, is also among them. This time, however, the actress avoided the beaches for her summer vacation. She flew to Cappadocia, Turkey, to see the famous fairy chimneys, winding valleys, hidden churches, amazing rock formations, and underground cities there. On Friday, the 46-year-old shared a video recapping her first day in the popular tourist destination. Malaika was seen chilling in a red kaftan dress, giving us major travel style goals. If you like her outfit as much as we do, keep reading to find out where you can get it.

This week, Malaika went to Cappadocia with her girlfriend. The actress has been sharing snippets from her time there on social media. Her most recent post was captioned, “#cappadocia #turkey is having a scorching weekend. Mustafaayorgun, mustafaayorgun, mustafaayorgun,” The video features her running through the streets of Cappadocia, dancing on top of a gypsy, posing in beautiful settings, eating local delicacies, and much more. To see the video, move your cursor over it.

For her first day in Cappadocia, Malaika wore a light kaftan dress. It comes in a bright maroon shade and is from designer Masaba Gupta’s label, House Of Masaba. A front-slit round neckline with long tassel-adorned ties, a loose-silhouette, billowy long sleeves, tassel embellishments on the torso and sleeves, a floor-sweeping hem length, and a quirky bird pattern painted on the front and back complete the ensemble.

The Maroon Mr. Beaks Kaftan is available for purchase on the House of Masaba website. It’s from their Luxe Resort ’22 collection, and it’ll set you back $15,000 to add it to your wardrobe.

Malaika accessorized her look with a tan cowboy hat, chunky gold hoop earrings, stacked wooden patterned bangles from House Of Masaba, and simple flip flops in the same color scheme as her outfit.

Malaika ended up glamming up her holiday look with open middle-parted messy tresses, glowing skin, blushed cheeks, bold red lips, a hint of mascara on the lashes, and on-fleek brows.

Family Star review

The Hindustan Times’ review of the movie Family Star, starring Vijay Deverakonda and directed by Parasuram Petla, suggests that the film struggles to make a mark or entertain, with issues reminiscent of Geetha Govindam (2018). The film tests patience and fails to maintain interest as it progresses.

The review criticizes the plot of Family Star, stating that it is thin and defies logic, making it difficult to enjoy. It also suggests that the film’s portrayal of middle-class life is caricaturish, as if it was written by someone unfamiliar with the realities of such a life.
