Mammikka: A 60-Year-Old Kerala Labourer Becomes Model
A 60-year-old daily wage worker from Kerala rules the internet through his flashy makeover. Mammikka, from Kerala’s Kozhikode district, switched from faded trousers and shirts to suits and sunglasses when posing for the local brand.
Photographs by photographer Shareek Vayalil went viral, with thousands congratulating the new model.
Photographer Shareek Vayalil is responsible for Mammikka’s newfound fame. According to sources, Shareek had previously taken a photo of Mammikka and posted it on his Facebook page.
The photo went viral because of the worker’s resemblance to actor Vinayakan. Soon after, Shareek approached Mammikka and asked him to model for his bridal company.
The 60-year-old underwent a facelift before the photo shoot, which was viewed by thousands on Instagram. The video has over 23,000 views since last week.
