MG Motor India launched its new SUV Hector Plus. It is basically a 6-seater version of MG Hector. However, many changes have been made to this compared to Hector. These changes have taken place from the look of the SUV to the cabin. Let us tell you what are the differences between Hector and Hector Plus.

Size and look

The length of Hector Plus is 65 mm more than that of Hector. It’s front and rear bumpers have a different design and are heavier than Hector’s bumpers, which has led to an increased SUV length. Hector Plus features a glossy black grille, new LED daytime running lights, new headlamps, new front, and rear bumpers, redesigned rear tail lamps, bold looking skid plates, floating signal turn indicators, shark fin antenna, and dual-tone machined alloy wheels. The Interior

Hector Plus has 6-seats in three lines, making it completely different from Hector. It has 2 Captain seats in the second line. Features

In terms of features, the Hector Plus SUV is similar to the Hector. It has a 10.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system, connected car technology, 8-speaker Infinity surrounds sound system, 7-inch multi-information display, ambient lighting, auto climate control, large panoramic sunroof, powered outside rearview mirrors and power-adjustable driver seat. The Engine

The engines of Hector Plus are the same as Hector. These include 1.5-litre petrol, 1.5-litre petrol hybrid and 2-litre diesel engines. Both petrol engines generate 143 ps of power and 250 Nm of torque. The diesel engine generates 170 ps of power and 350Nm of torque. A 6-speed manual gearbox with all three engines is standard. There is also the option of a dual-clutch automatic gearbox with a hybrid petrol engine.
