Moto G51 to Launch in India Today via Flipkart: Expected Price, Specifications

Moto G51 will be launched in India today. This smartphone was unveiled in Europe last month. It has a three-camera setup on the back with a 5,000 mAh battery inside. Moto G51 is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+ SoC, and the display refresh rate is 120Hz. It has an IP52 waterproof body. The Moto G51 smartphone has a perforated display on the front, and the cutout is located at the top center of the screen.

Moto G51 will be launched in India at 12 noon (noon) today. The phone was teased for being available on Flipkart, and its pricing, publishing offers and exact availability may also be announced on Twitter. In Europe, the Moto G51 is priced at 229.99 euros (approximately 19,300 rupees), while the Indian version may be priced the same. Flipkart joked that this phone will enter the Indian market in two styles, indigo and bright silver.

As for the specifications, the teased Indian variant looks identical to the European model. Moto G51 runs on Android 11 and is equipped with a 6.8-inch punch-hole Full HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixel) LCD display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, a screen-to-body ratio of 83.81, and an aspect ratio of 20:9. There is a selfie camera cutout in the middle of the display screen. As mentioned earlier, this phone was teased to be powered by a 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+ octa-core SoC. It is equipped with 4GB RAM. The internal storage is 64GB, and you can choose to use a microSD card for further expansion (up to 512GB).

As for the camera, the Moto G51 is equipped with a triple rear camera setup, including a 50-megapixel S5JKN1 main sensor with an aperture of f/1.8. The setup also includes an 8-pixel wide-angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture and an additional 2-pixel macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The rear camera modes include dual capture, spot color capture, macro capture and smile capture.

The Moto G51 smartphone is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and supports 20W TurboPower fast charging. It is said that the battery can last up to 30 hours. The phone supports Dolby Atmos. There is a rear fingerprint scanner on the back of the phone. Connection options include dual 5G support (SA/NSA), Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.1, NFC, etc. Motorola promised to upgrade to Android 12, and said it will provide two years of security updates.
