Govind Singh Longowal, president of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, said that we are sending a four-member delegation to Pakistan. He will meet the governor of the Pakistani state and take stock of the situation.

On closing the gate, stones were also thrown inside the Gurdwara Sahib. The protesters threatened to rename the city to Ghulam-e-Mustafa. No Sikh will live in Nankana. The performance lasted for about four hours. Due to this, shops around the gurdwara were closed.
