Nirbhaya Gang Rape: Preparations Begin To Hang All Four
Now 4 prisoners of the nirbhaya case will be hanged simultaneously in Tihar. Till now there was only one throne to be hanged here, but now their number has been increased to 4. PWD completed this work on Monday. The three new hangars of the gallows have also been prepared in the same jail number-3, where there is already a throne. Now Tihar has become the first such prison in the country, where four planks are ready to be hanged simultaneously.
Sources said that a JCB machine was also brought inside the jail to carry out this work as it is also necessary to construct a tunnel under them to prepare three new hanging frames. Through this, the dead prisoner is taken out after hanging. Along with three new hanging planks, the old planks have also been replaced.
Jail sources say that three hangings have been prepared to hang the four inmates of Nirbhaya gangrape here. The jail administration will give the status report of these four cases when the court opens. The courts are opening on 6 January. Only after the completion of all the legal process, a final decision will be taken on his execution.
