According to the guidelines, people who have not received the Covid-19 vaccine must show evidence at the border.

Australian Health Minister Greg Hunter confirmed that Australia cancelled the entry visa of the world’s number one Novak Djokovic on Thursday.

Earlier, Djokovic landed in Australia to participate in the Australian Open on the grounds of medical exemption. Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison said on Thursday that Djokovic is not an exception and the same rules will apply to everyone.

“Mr. Djokovic’s visa has been cancelled. The rules are the rules, especially on our borders. No one can override these rules. Our strong border policy for Australia is caused by the new crown virus in the world. One of the countries with the lowest mortality rate is crucial, and we will continue to be vigilant,” Morrison wrote on Twitter.
