On leaving Kundali Bhagya, Dheeraj Dhoopar said, “Moving on from the show was a demand of the script and a need of the hour.”

On social media, there have been rumours that Kundali Bhagya’s lead actor Dheeraj Dhoopar is leaving the show. The actor has been a part of the show for five years, and the fans adored his coupling with female lead Shraddha Arya. The show made the actor a household figure, and he now has a sizable social media following. The actor recently spoke to Etimes about his departure from the show and his future plans.

“KB has given me recognition, popularity, and glory,” Dheeraj said of his departure from the show. My character, Karan Luthra, is my kid, and I am very close to him. I owe Ekta Kapoor a debt of gratitude for creating such a fantastic persona for me. Moving on from the show, however, was a requirement of the script as much as the need of the hour. The producers and I came to this agreement in a friendly and cooperative manner. Coincidentally, the character’s departure and my acquisition of new opportunities occurred at the same moment.”

“I still can’t believe that I am no longer a part of Kundali Bhagya,” he stated of his last few days on the sets. It’s taking a while for the sensation to sink in. Because Karan and Dheeraj are so similar, it’s impossible for me to be separated from Karan. I’m sad to say goodbye to KB, but as I previously stated, the timing is right for both the show and myself to go on a new adventure.”

When asked about his future intentions, he revealed that he has been attempting to break into Bollywood, Punjabi films, and OTT for the past year and a half, and he finally sees things working out for him. He went on to say that he didn’t want to transfer to another medium merely for the sake of it, and that he wanted to be a part of intriguing projects regardless of the medium. He stated that he will not quit the tiny screen and that if a TV show is attractive to him, he will pursue it. He wants to be acknowledged as a versatile actor who can work in a variety of mediums.

Family Star review

The Hindustan Times’ review of the movie Family Star, starring Vijay Deverakonda and directed by Parasuram Petla, suggests that the film struggles to make a mark or entertain, with issues reminiscent of Geetha Govindam (2018). The film tests patience and fails to maintain interest as it progresses.

The review criticizes the plot of Family Star, stating that it is thin and defies logic, making it difficult to enjoy. It also suggests that the film’s portrayal of middle-class life is caricaturish, as if it was written by someone unfamiliar with the realities of such a life.
