Oppo launched a new color variant of Reno 7 in its home market. The company has named the new version Oppo Reno 7 5G New Year Edition. The new smart phone uses bright red. Since the new Oppo Reno 7 5G has not yet been launched in any country/region outside of China, the new special edition device is also only launched in one country/region. In addition to the velvet red of the Oppo Reno 7 5G New Year Edition, the back panel of this phone also has an etching of the tiger symbol. Oppo Reno 7 5G is located in the high-end mid-range market. The new special edition device also has the same price tag as the standard version. The phone has been launched in three configurations. The 8GB RAM and 128GB storage version is priced at RMB 2,699 (approximately Rs 31,800). The 8GB RAM and 256GB storage version is priced at RMB 2,999 (approximately Rs 35,300). The third version is equipped with 12GB of memory and 256GB of storage space and is priced at 3299 yuan (approximately 38,900 rupees). It is expected that OnePlus will soon launch the Nord device, which is reportedly a rebranded version of Oppo Reno 7, with some major adjustments in the charging and camera fields. The new OnePlus device is expected to be the successor to Nord CE and may be named Nord 2 CE 5G.

The OnePlus phone was originally discovered under the code name Ivan. The device was even spotted on the Bureau of Standards of India (BIS), which hints that the device will be launched soon and may make its debut in India.​​​

The pricing of OnePlus Nord 2 CE 5G is expected to be similar to Oppo Reno 7 5G. However, the brand may charge a small fee for additional features.

Oppo Reno 7 5G is supported by MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset, which is a 6nm architecture chip. The device is equipped with a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with FullHD+ resolution. The phone gets UFS 2.2 storage.

In terms of optics, the device has a three-lens setup. The main unit is a 48MP lens. The other two modules have a 2MP macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor. OnePlus Nord devices may be equipped with a 64MP primary sensor.

Oppo Reno 7’s fast charging power is limited to 33W. According to reports, OnePlus Nord 2 CE will get 65W fast charging. However, these two devices may be equipped with the same 4,500 mAh battery unit.

SpiceJet announces 8 new flights to connect Jaipur with Varanasi, Amritsar and Ahmedabad

SpiceJet expands its domestic network with 8 new flights that will connect Jaipur with Varanasi, Amritsar and Ahmedabad and also link Ahmedabad with Pune.

SpiceJet is further expanding its domestic network with the launch of eight new flights starting November 15.

In the statement released on Wednesday, the airline announced that these new routes will connect Jaipur with Varanasi, Amritsar and Ahmedabad, while also linking Ahmedabad with Pune. This expansion follows the recent launch of 32 new flights in October 2024, including two international flights connecting Delhi with Phuket.

Last month, SpiceJet also commenced UDAN flights linking Shivamogga in Karnataka with Chennai and Hyderabad, and introduced double daily flights between Chennai and Kochi, enhancing connectivity across key regional and metropolitan cities.

“We are excited to announce the launch of new flights from Jaipur to Varanasi, Amritsar, and Ahmedabad, as well as from Ahmedabad to Pune, providing our passengers with greater flexibility and convenience,” SpiceJet Chief Business Officer Debojo Maharshi said.

“These new flights reflect our commitment to supporting passenger demand across tier-II cities and beyond. With our expanded winter schedule, including international and UDAN routes, we aim to provide our customers with greater convenience, affordability, and seamless travel experiences,” Maharshi added.

SpiceJet will deploy its 78-seater Q400 aircraft in these sectors. Bookings for the new flights are now open and tickets are available at the website of the airline, SpiceJet’s mobile app and through online travel portals and travel agents.

On Monday, the airline received a significant boost, with Acuite Ratings & Research Limited upgrading its long-term rating by four notches to ‘B ‘ and its short-term rating to A4. The rating agency has also assigned a ‘Stable’ outlook to the airline.
