Regarding privacy and the media, Taapsee Pannu says, “Please call me haughty, but I won’t try to sugar-coat.”
In an industry that is largely driven by public opinion, it is no surprise that celebrities are often very careful about what they say in interviews. However, Taapsee Pannu is not one to shy away from speaking her mind – even if it means ruffling a few feathers.
In a recent interview, the actress was asked about her thoughts on privacy and the media. Pannu responded by saying, “Please call me haughty, but I won’t try to sugar-coat. I think the media has become a necessary evil. It is like the air we breathe – we can’t live without it but it is also slowly killing us.”
Pannu went on to say that she does not believe that celebrities owe the public anything, and that it is important to draw a line between one’s personal and professional life. She also said that she does not regret anything that she has said in the past, regardless of the backlash she may have received.
It is refreshing to see a celebrity who is willing to speak her mind, even if it means going against the grain. Pannu’s candid interview is a reminder that not all celebrities are afraid to voice their opinions – even if those opinions may not be popular.
