Servotech and 2Power to invest EUR 10 million to introduce PVT technology in India

Through this PVT technology, solar modules will now generate electricity, heat and cooling through the adsorption process. Through this collaboration, Servotech, which recently launched #O2FORALL efforts to bridge the gap between oxygen concentrators and patients, will use this technology to manufacture and assemble these modules in India to produce cooling, which can be the best alternative to air conditioners .

Leading manufacturer of LED lights and solar products, Servotech Power Systems Ltd., announced a partnership with 2Power Gmbh, a German solar module company, to launch the PVT technology 2Power WP+ system in India.

It makes the generation, storage and distribution of electricity and heat free from the limitations of traditional systems. These modules are simply installed on the roof, visually appealing, and use heat pump systems to generate electricity, heat, and cool the end user’s home.

Using this technology, excess electricity can be stored in a smart electricity storage system and reused at night. The system is fully qualified, noiseless, and can be cooled in summer without an outdoor unit. Commenting on the cooperation, Raman Bhatia, Managing Director of Servotech Power Systems Ltd. said: “With the rapid growth of solar energy in India, the increase in market participants and the active consumer interest in it, Servotech plans to launch about 10 million in this project. In addition, taking into account the progress of the project, this investment may change further. In 2018, technology has achieved success in multiple areas, one of which is the BHU University in Varanasi.”
