Johnny Wactor, a seasoned actor from soap operas best known for his work on General Hospital as Brando Corbin, was cruelly shot and died early on Saturday morning in Los Angeles. The 37-year-old actor was shot on Saturday morning in downtown Los Angeles after he and a companion saw three individuals attempting to steal the catalytic converter from his car, according to TMZ, which cited Wactor’s mother and police.

Scarlett Wactor, Johnny Wactor’s mother, told TMZ that even though the actor faced the perpetrators, he did not defend himself and was nonetheless shot. The three departed the site in the meantime; the suspects’ identities have not been made public. As of yet, no one has been taken into custody. A guy was shot and killed on Saturday at approximately three in the morning close to the intersection of Hope Street and Pico Boulevard, according to an LAPD report. Three suspects were allegedly trying to take the catalytic converter off the victim’s automobile when the victim intervened. The local hospital declared Wactor dead at the hospital just after three in the morning.

The deceased actor, who gained recognition for his parts in supernatural television series including Criminal Minds and Siberia, left behind his mother and two younger siblings. Johnny made his acting debut in 2007 on the TV series Army Wives. He experimented with a number of roles throughout time before settling on one. His debut came via his role in General Hospital, although he still counts The Westworld, The OA, NCIS, Station 19, and Hollywood Girl among his all-time favourite shows.
