The BJP will stage a protest outside Kejriwal’s residence the day after Tajinder Bagga’s arrest
The saffron party has upped the ante against Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal, a day after Delhi Bharatiya Janata Party spokesperson Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga was arrested by the Punjab Police.
According to news agency ANI, BJP workers will stage a protest outside the Delhi CM’s residence in the national capital. The Delhi Police, according to the agency, has made preparations to deal with any situation.
The police’s special branch has been activated, and a large police presence has been deployed around the CM’s residence. The Delhi Police’s anti-riot cell has also been requested to be present at the protest site.
Adesh Gupta, the Delhi BJP chief, launched an all-out attack on the AAP-led Punjab government over Tajinder Bagga’s arrest earlier in the day. This came after the BJP leader arrived at his Delhi home on the night between Friday and Saturday.
Bagga has returned to his home today. This is the triumph of justice and democracy. Arvind Kejriwal, the Delhi Chief Minister, was humbled by his release. According to ANI, the Delhi BJP chief “misused the Punjab police force to arrest Bagga.”
Tajinder Bagga’s father approached the Delhi Police after his son was abducted by armed men from his Janakpuri residence in the capital on Friday. The Delhi Police have opened a kidnapping investigation based on his complaint. Bagga was accused of threatening Arvind Kejriwal, the Delhi chief minister.
After receiving an alert from Haryana Police, Bagga and the Punjab Police team were apprehended by Haryana Police in Kurukshetra. The Delhi Police rushed to Kurukshetra, where they were given the BJP leader’s custody and returned to Delhi.
Bagga claims that the Punjab Police stormed his house and arrested him as a terrorist. “No warrant was shown to me. I told them to let me tie my turban when nearly eight people picked me up. I was denied the opportunity to wear the turban and slippers. I was shoved into the car. The Punjab police took me hostage. The local police department was also kept in the dark. Rule Breakers, directed by two time Oscar winner Bill Guttentag, explores themes of resilience and defiance in Afghanistan. The film is set for a release in March 2025.

She created and starred in the acclaimed TV series Fleabag, which won multiple awards and resonated widely for its dark humour and raw honesty. Waller-Bridge also contributed to Killing Eve, showcasing her knack for complex, unpredictable female characters.
Ali Zafar is the busiest Indian actor in Hollywood, having starred in Fast and Furious franchise, Victoria and Abdul, Death on the Nile and Kandahar. In India, he will be seen in the Mirzapur movie soon.
