Bigg Boss 15: Umar Riaz gets evicted from the show; Rashami Desai and Karan Kundrra get teary-eyed
Reality show ‘Bigg Boss 15’ contestant Umar Riaz got evicted from the house, after actor Salman Khan-hosted revealed the eviction. Khan announced Riaz’s name on Sunday’s Weekend Ka Vaar episode.
After Khan announced his name, at first fellow inmates Rashami Desai and Karan Kundrra felt it was a prank. But as soon as the main door opened for Riaz to leave, Kundrra and Desai both broke down and were in tears.
While Desai sobbed uncontrollably, Kundrra too was devastated. As tears rolled over his cheeks, he hugged Riaz tightly. Riaz apologised to participant Pratik Sehajpal, with whom he had a fight, as he was leaving, and the latter told him to relax since they would meet outside soon. Desai cried uncontrollably while actress Shamita Shetty, Kundrra, and Devoleena Bhattacharjee tried to console her.
Ex ‘Bigg Boss’ contestant Gauhar Khan took to twitter and said that Riaz was evicted because he was aggressive. She said, “Sorry to say, but he was evicted because he was extremely aggressive. Not once but on many occasions. I’m surprised he wasn’t evicted before. Karan has been extremely aggressive too. What’s actually unfair is that multiple chances are given to many offenders. It’s a mental game.” She wrote the tweet in response to a post in which said, “Umar was a clear winner. Is that why he was evicted? Public winner Umar Riaz.”

After The Kapil Sharma Show aired on television for the last year, the comedian moved to streaming services in 2024 with The Great Indian Kapil Show. Actor Huma Qureshi was a permanent visitor on the TV show Madness Machayenge-India Ko Hassayenge, which briefly filled the hole created by the departure of the former show. But it didn’t quite click with the public, and according to recent rumours, the channel has added comedian Zakir Khan to help fill the void with a new programme.
Comedy and shayari will be mixed together in Zakir Khan’s presentation.
We now know some exclusive information about the show, such as its schedule and format. According to a source with direct knowledge of the situation, “Zakir’s show will feature a trademark Zakir blend of humour and shayari. With this programme, the comedian hopes to reach a larger audience. He has already developed a following of people who identify with his shayarana side. Madness Machayenge is now airing and is most likely coming to an end. Zakir’s television programme is scheduled to premiere in August. Bollywood visitors will appear on the broadcast in addition to Zakir’s shayari and comedy, much like it used to happen on Kapil’s show.” This is Khan’s second television appearance following his work on the fifth season of The As a mentor in the Great Indian Laughter Challenge in 2017. In addition, he hosted the comedic non-fiction programme Farzi Mushaira on OTT, combining humour and shayari with well-known guests.
Recently, filming for Kapil’s OTT show came to an end, and there were rumours that this was because of the show’s poor viewership. The cast of Heeramandi, American singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran, and actors Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor, among others, were disclosed in a video that the crew published to refute the rumours. Regarding Madness Machayenge, the television programme that took Kapil’s position, director Karan Johar blasted it for his repulsive impersonation on the show. The full guest list for Zakir’s programme has not yet been announced.
