Manish Malhotra has confirmation that Neetu Kapoor is ready for her upcoming flick Jugjugg Jeeyo. On Friday, costume designer Manish uploaded a video of himself dancing with Neetu and her daughter, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, to the hook beat of The Punjaabban song. The video is dedicated to Karan Johar, who is producing the film under his own label.

“Karan this one’s for you… Friday night live with ours Punjaban,” Manish captioned the video. Manish, Riddhima, and Neetu are seen twinning in black ensembles in the video. Their two friends are also included.

Karan Johar reacted to the video with the words “Fab” and a slew of emojis. Varun Dhawan praised Manish, saying, “You should have become a hero.” Heart emoticons were also shared by Saba Pataudi. Meanwhile, in the comments section, people couldn’t stop admiring Neetu.

The Punjaabban Song is a replica of Nach Punjaban, a Pakistani song. Gippy Grewal, Zahrah S Khan, Tanishk Bagchi, and Romy sang it, and Tanishk Bagchi and Abrar Ul Haq wrote the music and lyrics. The song caused a stir as it was used in the trailer for JugJugg Jeeyo.

Abrar Ul Haq had accused the film’s creators of plagiarising his song without permission. “I have not sold Nach Punjaban to any Indian film and reserve the right to sue for damages in court.” Copy tunes should not be used by producers like @karanjohar. This is the sixth time a song has been duplicated, and it will not be tolerated. He tweeted, “@DharmaMovies @karanjohar.” T-Series responded by dismissing Abrar’s claims and claiming that they had lawfully secured the rights to modify the song.
