Alia says she decided to marry Ranbir when she was just a ‘sweet little girl’

Alia Bhatt says she wanted to marry Ranbir Kapoor since she first saw him on screen. The two have been dating since 2017.

During an interview, Alia opened up to the constant news reports, speculating on when she would tie the knot with Ranbir. She said her marriage was a “mindset” and she already felt at peace in the relationship.

Arya told India Today: “When people keep asking me a question, ‘When are you getting married? When are you getting married? When are you getting married?’ – I don’t think it’s anyone’s business in the first place. And secondly if you honestly ask me marriage is a state of mind, I feel as far as my peace in relationship is concerned. I’ve arrived so let’s move on, whenever it’s supposed to happen, with him as I wish will. It will take time.”

“If you really ask me when I’m getting married, well, it seems to me that I’m already married to him. Forget that! When I first saw him on screen, that day I decided to marry him I was a cute little girl at the time. But that’s what I mean, I think it’s a state of mind. It’s peace in your mind, in your heart, in your relationship,” she added.
