The Amazon Halo View fitness tracker was launched along with many other devices at a major event hosted by the e-commerce giant on Tuesday, September 28. The fitness bracelet has functions such as step tracking, optical heart rate and skin temperature monitoring. It counts activity points, gives sleep scores, and checks blood oxygen (SpO2) levels. The fitness bracelet provides 7 days of battery life, and adopts a swimming-proof design, with a waterproof depth of up to 50 meters. The band will offer three sports band colors. Amazon Halo View fitness tracker comes with a one-year Halo membership, allowing users to use Halo’s exclusive features, nutrition, fitness modes, exercises and programs. US$79.99 (approximately 5,900 rupees). Amazon’s fitness tracker is available in three sizes, small, medium and large, and offers three different color options-active black, lavender dream and sage green.

This fitness bracelet is already on Amazon, but the company said it will start shipping later this year. Users will get Amazon Halo View bundled with a 12-month Halo membership at no additional cost. After 12 months, Amazon stated that the membership will be automatically renewed at 3.99 USD/month (approximately 300 rupees) plus applicable taxes.

The Amazon Halo View strap is resistant to swimming and is water-resistant up to 50 meters. It can be paired with a smartphone via a Bluetooth connection. Wearables can be paired with the Halo app and use the smartphone’s camera to measure body fat percentage. Users can also analyze their tone of voice using the Halo application. Halo Band customers can access Halo Fitness and Halo Nutrition through the Halo app. Non-members can also use Halo View and Halo apps to access basic functions such as step count, heart rate, sleep time, and sleep tracking.
