The Covid-19 vaccine, prepared in Russia, will go into civilian circulation from January 1, 2021, that is, it will be made accessible to the common people from this day itself. The media reported this on Tuesday, citing the certificate of this vaccine registered by Russia. According to a report by the TAS news agency, Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko said that the vaccine for Covid-19 developed jointly by the Microbiology Research Center Gamalaya and the Russian Ministry of Defense, will be first given to medical personnel and teachers.

He said, “We will start using it in a phased manner among the common people. First of all, priority will be given to those who come in contact with the infected person in connection with the work and they are medical personnel and it will also be provided first to those who are responsible for the health of the children i.e. teachers. ”

The Russian Health Minister said that the Gamaleya Research Center Institute and pharmaceutical company Binnopharm JSC will be used for the production of the vaccine. Kirill Dmitri, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund, said that the country has received 100 million requests for vaccine supplements.

He said, “We have seen the world’s keen interest in the Russian vaccine created by the Gamalaya Research Institute. We have received initial requests for the purchase of more than one hundred crore doses of vaccine from twenty states. ” He said that Russia, along with its foreign partners in five countries, is ready to ensure the production of more than 500 million doses of the vaccine. According to the report by TAS news agency, Russia plans to further increase its production capacity.
