For this explosive advertisement, Aamir Khan and Darsheel Safary reconnect 16 years after Taare Zameen Par

After acting in the 2007 film Taare Zameen Par, actors Aamir Khan and Darsheel Safary reconnected after a 16-year break. Darsheel posted an advertisement on Instagram in which Aamir plays his grandfather.

“Come along with Aamir Khan on his time travel adventure with Charged by Thums Up,” posted Darsheel on his Instagram page. Aamir portrays his “dadu,” a person who solves all of his difficulties in life, in it. Darsheel posted a series of images of Aamir on Tuesday along with the caption, “We’re all just residing in Aamir’s multiverse.” Three days remain.

He posted a still from Taare Zameen Par a few days ago, comparing it to an image from the advertisement and noting, “16 years later, and we’re together again.” Feeling-wise? Yes, somewhat. Charged? Certainly. Many thanks for the experience to my favorite mentor. Keep an eye out for the big reveal.

The idea of Aamir and Darsheel sharing the screen once more excited fans. Some fans were relieved to see the couple together once more, while others were disappointed that it was just for a commercial. “Movie.” “Nahi aane wali thi kya?,” one fan remarked, expressing their optimism that it would be a movie the two were working on. “Great to see you with Aamir Khan after 16 years,” another fan commented. “Aamir’s ads are always like a short film for me, and you, @dsafary, great to see both of you together after all these years!!!!” was one comment from someone who didn’t care that it was an advertisement. “Ad mein hi film ka perfection hai,” the other. (The advertisement is as flawless as a movie.)

For those who are unaware, Aamir and Darsheel first appeared on screen together in Taare Zameen Par, when the former played a mentor and the latter, a dyslexic student. Then, Darsheel was just ten years old. At his daughter Ira’s wedding, Aamir recently got back together with Tisca Chopra, who played Darsheel’s mother in the movie. Later, Darsheel starred in movies including Midnight’s Children, Zokkomon, and Bumm Bumm Bole.

Family Star review

The Hindustan Times’ review of the movie Family Star, starring Vijay Deverakonda and directed by Parasuram Petla, suggests that the film struggles to make a mark or entertain, with issues reminiscent of Geetha Govindam (2018). The film tests patience and fails to maintain interest as it progresses.

The review criticizes the plot of Family Star, stating that it is thin and defies logic, making it difficult to enjoy. It also suggests that the film’s portrayal of middle-class life is caricaturish, as if it was written by someone unfamiliar with the realities of such a life.
