iMac Pro With M1 Pro, M1 Max Chips to Launch in 2022

The next generation iMac currently under development may be called iMac Pro. According to Mac Rumors, the device will be equipped with the same M1 Pro and M1 Max chips that Apple introduced in MacBook Pro models, and there may be “additional configurations.” It is said that Apple is using the Pro naming to distinguish the upcoming iMac from the 24-inch iMac released earlier this year. Since it will use the M1 Pro and Max chips, Apple treats it as a Pro device and internally refers to it as the iMac Pro.

According to sources, the iMac will be equipped with a 27-inch mini-LED display using ProMotion technology, despite previous rumors that the next generation iMac will be equipped with a larger display. Unlike the 24-inch iMac, the iMac Pro will use a dark border, and the border size can be reduced. In terms of design, it may look similar to a 24-inch iMac and Pro Display XDR, and Apple has apparently tested Face ID for the machine, but this is not a confirmed feature.

The base model iMac will be equipped with 16GB of memory and 512GB of storage space, and all models will be equipped with an HDMI port, an SD card slot and multiple USB-C/Thunderbolt ports, similar to the MacBook Pro. It is said that Apple also includes an Ethernet port on the power adapter.

According to sources, the starting price of iMac will reach or exceed US$2,000 (approximately 150,000 rupees) and will be launched in the first half of 2022. The upcoming iMac Pro will replace the current Intel-based 27-inch iMac model. We have not heard of Apple’s larger iMac, but sources confirmed that such a machine is under development.

According to reports, Apple suspended work on the larger iMac and switched to developing a 24-inch model, but now that the 24-inch iMac has been launched, development can be resumed. There are rumors that Apple is developing a new 27-inch iMac equipped with a mini-LED display and ProMotion display technology.

Surfaces of the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra with Snapdragon 8S Gen 3

Early this week, renders of the Edge 50 Fusion appeared, and Motorola has previously stated that the Edge 50 Pro will ship on April 3. The highest-end smartphone in the Edge 50 series, the Edge 50 Ultra, has now been shown in renders.

The phone is depicted in the renderings in peach fuzz and black with a vegan leather finish, while sisal, a beige color, will have a brushed surface. As opposed to the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 in the Pro variant and the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 in the Edge 50 Fusion, the phone is reportedly powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC.

A 50MP primary camera, an ultra-wide camera, and a periscope telephoto camera with a 5x optical zoom are all included in the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra’s feature set. Additionally, there is a triple LED flash on the right side and a laser autofocus feature above the periscope lens.

Although the phone’s display, battery, and charging specifications are yet unknown, the Edge 50 Pro is said to include 12GB of RAM and support both 50W and 125W wired and wireless charging.

It is anticipated that this will launch as the Motorola X50 Ultra in China. It is unclear if the India launch may be expected on the same day as the rest of the Edge 50 series phones, even if this is scheduled to go official on April 3.
