Netflix brings Games to iOS a week after Android Launch: How to download & all details

Netflix announced that it will launch mobile games for iOS users-this is an obvious move after the initial introduction of games to Android. Through the update, users on iOS devices will be able to play games-while watching movies and TV shows through the Netflix app. These games do not provide any advertising or additional costs, but users need to subscribe to Netflix to experience them on iPhone or iPad. The initial list of games available through Netflix is restricted to adults and cannot be accessed through children’s profiles.

If you set a PIN to prevent children from accessing your adult profile, young users will also not be able to play any available games on the device. On Tuesday, Netflix announced the launch of mobile games for its members on iPhone and iPad. The company said that the update will be available to users starting Wednesday. Netflix initially brought five games to mobile users, namely Stranger Things: 1984 and Stranger Things 3: The Game from BonusXP, Shooting Hoops and Teeter Up from Frosty Pop and Card Blast from Amuzo & Rogue Games.

This new announcement was made especially one week after Netflix launched its mobile game to its Android users. On Android, users can download available games through Google Play, and then go to a dedicated game row or game tab to play directly through the Netflix application. On the other hand, iOS users will be able to download games through the App Store.

Netflix’s interest in the growing gaming world is not new, as it officially announced plans to start offering games in its July quarterly earnings. The Los Gatos, California-based company also hired Mike Verdu as the vice president of its game development department earlier this year to start the program. Verdu is a former Facebook executive who worked with developers to build its augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) content.

He has also worked with game companies such as Electronic Arts and Zynga. Initially, after acquiring video game developer Night School Studio in September, Netflix tested five early mobile games in selected European markets. The video streaming platform has also worked with independent game studios including BonusXP for some time.

Diljit then sang a song on Guru Nanak, as PM Modi listened intently, beating the adjacent table like a dholak, matching his beats with Diljit’s.
