Madhuri worked with both Salman and Shah Rukh Khan in a number of films, the majority of which were box office hits in the 1990s and early 2000s. She is best known for her roles in Saajan and Hum Aapke Hain Koun..! with Salman Khan. She collaborated with SRK on films such as Devdas, Dil To Pagal Hai, Koyla, and Anjaam, among others.
