Sameera Reddy shares photos of herself when she was dealing with postpartum depression

On social media, Sameera Reddy posted pictures of herself and her son Hans. After giving birth to her first child with husband Akshai Varde, she suffered from postpartum depression and has been open about her recovery. When it came to mental health awareness, she admitted that she did not act quickly enough when she was at her lowest point.

She shared an excerpt from her experience while explaining mental health conditions. She stated, “Postpartum stress was difficult for me, and I did not react quickly enough because I was unaware that it existed. The photos in this post show me at my most vulnerable. I couldn’t seem to be happy after the birth of my first child, no matter how hard I tried. I still think about these moments, and it makes me want to reach out to anyone who isn’t feeling well. You are not by yourself. It’s also critical to be there for one another during difficult times.” She also provided advice on how to deal with Postpartum Depression (PPD) for those in similar situations.

She shared a few photos of herself, including one in which she is seen sitting with her son during a ritual. In another, she smiled for the camera while holding little Hans in her arms. Gauahar Khan responded with a heart emoji and said, “You’re an amazing mom.” ‘Best mom,’ according to Anita Hassanandani.

When it came to PPD, Sameera had previously stated that she was unsure about having a second child after her son was born. She also discussed how stress caused her to lose control of her body and self, which harmed her marriage. Despite the odds, she revealed that her husband and family were instrumental in her recovery.

Family Star review

The Hindustan Times’ review of the movie Family Star, starring Vijay Deverakonda and directed by Parasuram Petla, suggests that the film struggles to make a mark or entertain, with issues reminiscent of Geetha Govindam (2018). The film tests patience and fails to maintain interest as it progresses.

The review criticizes the plot of Family Star, stating that it is thin and defies logic, making it difficult to enjoy. It also suggests that the film’s portrayal of middle-class life is caricaturish, as if it was written by someone unfamiliar with the realities of such a life.
