Know The Whole Matter Here:

The cartoon criticizing Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray in Maharashtra capital Mumbai was overshadowed by a former Naval officer on WhatsApp. Shiv Sainiks considered the cartoon an insult to Uddhav and attacked the former officer on Friday.

In his statement to the police, Madan Sharma said that after forwarding this cartoon, I received a call from a person who asked me my name and home address before 10 am last Friday. Half an hour later, a person calling himself Kamlesh Kadam called and asked me why I posted this cartoon.

In the statement, Sharma said that I said step by step that I have only forwarded Cortoon from one WhatsApp group to another. Around 12 noon, an unknown person called my home telephone number and said that I should come to the gate of the society, because he wants to talk to me.

The former naval authority said that when I reached the gate of the society, there were 8 to 10 men standing there, who asked me why I posted that cortoon on WhatsApp. I told him once again that I have only forwarded from one group to another. But they did not listen to me and started beating me badly.
