Airtel vs Jio vs Vi offer postpaid plans under Rs 1000 with streaming benefits, check all offers
Telecommunications companies Airtel, Jio and Vi offer post-paid plans starting at Rs 399. Users who don’t want to recharge every day can consider these plans, as most of them come with streaming benefits and also provide additional connections to higher plans. Jio can access Netflix and Disney+ through its 399 rupees post-paid plan Hotstar.
This helps users find daily data and call rights and bundled OTT rights. Users can also choose to migrate from their prepaid SIM card to a postpaid number at no additional cost. The following plans are priced below 1,000 rupees and provide the following benefits. Airtel offers a post-paid plan starting at 399 rupees, and provides 40GB of data traffic, unlimited calls and 100 text messages per day. The plan is basic, and there are no other streaming advantages except Airtel XStream. Airtel’s post-paid plans are now priced at 499 rupees, 749 rupees and 999 rupees, with access to Disney+ Hotstar Mobile.
These plans provide 75GB, 125GB and 150Gb data respectively. They all allow unlimited calls and 100 text messages per day. The streaming benefits of all these plans include access to Prime Video, Airtel XStream and Disney+ Hotstar Mobile subscriptions. Although the Rs 499 post-paid plan does not provide any additional connections, the Rs 749 post-paid plan offers two free family add-on plans, while the Rs 999 post-paid plan offers three family add-on plans. Jio has access to Disney+ Hotstar Mobile and Netflix post-paid plans, starting at Rs 399.
Below 1,000 rupees, the plan is priced at 599 rupees, 799 rupees and 999 rupees. These plans provide 75GB, 100GB, 150GB, and 200GB of data respectively. The 599 rupees plan provides access to 1 additional home connection, the 799 rupees plan provides 2 additional home connections, and the 999 rupees add-on plan provides access to three additional home connections. The plan also brings the benefits of data transfer, unlimited calls and 100 text messages per day.
Talking about the streaming advantages of these plans, they can access Netflix, Disney+ Hostar, Prime Video, and Jio TV. Vi provides post-paid plans for individuals and families. Vi’s personal post-paid plan also starts at 399 rupees, but with the exception of Vi movies and TV, streaming media benefits are not available. Individual plans priced at 499 rupees and 699 rupees can access 75GB of data, while the 699 rupees plan can access unlimited data. As mentioned earlier, these are personal post-paid plans that provide streaming benefits such as Amazon Prime, Disney+ Hotstar, and Vi movies and TV.
If users want to get a family post-paid plan under 1,000 rupees, they can choose between 699 rupees and 999 rupees post-paid plans. The 699 rupees post-paid plan provides two connections and 80GB of data, of which 40GB is used for the main connection and 40GB is used for the auxiliary connection.

SpiceJet announces 8 new flights to connect Jaipur with Varanasi, Amritsar and Ahmedabad
SpiceJet expands its domestic network with 8 new flights that will connect Jaipur with Varanasi, Amritsar and Ahmedabad and also link Ahmedabad with Pune.
SpiceJet is further expanding its domestic network with the launch of eight new flights starting November 15.
In the statement released on Wednesday, the airline announced that these new routes will connect Jaipur with Varanasi, Amritsar and Ahmedabad, while also linking Ahmedabad with Pune. This expansion follows the recent launch of 32 new flights in October 2024, including two international flights connecting Delhi with Phuket.
Last month, SpiceJet also commenced UDAN flights linking Shivamogga in Karnataka with Chennai and Hyderabad, and introduced double daily flights between Chennai and Kochi, enhancing connectivity across key regional and metropolitan cities.
“We are excited to announce the launch of new flights from Jaipur to Varanasi, Amritsar, and Ahmedabad, as well as from Ahmedabad to Pune, providing our passengers with greater flexibility and convenience,” SpiceJet Chief Business Officer Debojo Maharshi said.
“These new flights reflect our commitment to supporting passenger demand across tier-II cities and beyond. With our expanded winter schedule, including international and UDAN routes, we aim to provide our customers with greater convenience, affordability, and seamless travel experiences,” Maharshi added.
SpiceJet will deploy its 78-seater Q400 aircraft in these sectors. Bookings for the new flights are now open and tickets are available at the website of the airline, SpiceJet’s mobile app and through online travel portals and travel agents.
On Monday, the airline received a significant boost, with Acuite Ratings & Research Limited upgrading its long-term rating by four notches to ‘B ‘ and its short-term rating to A4. The rating agency has also assigned a ‘Stable’ outlook to the airline.
