Hruta Durgule on her hush-hush wedding: I didn’t want it to end

On May 18 of this year, filmmaker Prateek Shah and actress Hruta Durgule got married. The performer has, however, hardly ever talked about her marriage, which was a very intimate union. According to Durgule, she has always desired such a private affair.

“Everyone wants to know why your wedding was kept quiet and private. But that’s how I’ve always wanted it. I’ve always desired just close pals and family members (at the wedding). I got what I desired, and it happened. In the company of our close friends and family, all the pre-wedding traditions were performed at home. We grouped everything together because it was challenging to obtain an off (from their TV shows). The day was so lovely that I didn’t want to go.

The lead character in a Marathi daily, Durgule, recently discussed how it was getting harder for them to get a vacation for their wedding. After a brief wedding, the couple spent their honeymoon in Morocco. “Finally, we both had a respite. It has been an insane schedule. Even meeting was quite challenging. For us, this served as an escape. We are content that we enjoyed ourselves. Fun was had. Since we were confident that we wanted to go out, we combined everything into one day and kept the wedding ceremonies brief. Furthermore, it was challenging to even get a day off. Our housing production was really gracious. Otherwise, a protagonist has a really difficult time.”
