Ishaan Khatter recalls how Amitabh Bachchan assisted him in enrolling in a reputable university.

On Tuesday, as Amitabh Bachchan celebrated his 80th birthday, several people in the entertainment business from various generations sent their best wishes and beautiful memories of the seasoned actor. Ishaan Khatter remembered how Amitabh had a significant influence on his life, something he wasn’t even conscious of for a very long time.

Ishaan Khatter revealed that Amitabh Bachchan helped him get into a reputable school when he was a young boy. Amitabh offered to help after learning that Ishaan’s mother, actor Neliima Azeem, was having trouble enrolling Ishaan in school while they were shooting together.

Not many people are aware of this, but even before I started acting, he did me a tremendous favour, Ishaan told ETimes. I was admitted to my school because of him. At the time, he was co-working with my mother. Mr. Bachchan personally visited the administrators and the principal because admission to that school was extremely competitive. I didn’t learn about this until much later, when I was an adult. But how do you picture that? Amitabh Bachchan took that action in order for a child to receive a top-notch education.

Ishaan continued to praise Amitabh, saying, “Over twice as long as my entire existence, Bachchan Saab has been a cultural figure. In movies like Anand, Deewaar, and countless others, I have admired his work. He has continuously reinvented himself over the past 20 years while I’ve been monitoring his work, not just as a star but also as an actor. I can’t help but respect and admire him. Even just by watching him, there is so much to learn.”

On his Instagram page, Ishaan also wished Amitabh Bachchan a happy birthday. Happy birthday Amitji.. from a kid you once helped get into school, Ishaan tweeted alongside a photo of the actor from his 1975 movie Deewar. I didn’t understand till I was older and only then.

The Importance of Responsible Fandom: Fans play a significant role in an actor’s success, and their enthusiasm can bring immense joy to the celebrity they adore. However, it is essential for fans to remember that their actions should be responsible and respectful towards others. Expressing support and admiration should not come at the cost of causing inconvenience, harm, or damage to the surroundings.

Public Safety and Environmental Concerns: The incident of firecrackers being ignited during the Simhadri re-release raises important concerns regarding public safety and environmental impact. Firecrackers, besides being noisy, can also be hazardous and pose a risk to people’s well-being, especially in crowded areas. Additionally, the environmental implications of such celebrations, including air and noise pollution, cannot be ignored.

Promoting Positive Fan Culture: While celebrating the achievements and milestones of their favorite stars, fans have the power to shape public perception. It is crucial for fan clubs and individuals to encourage positive fan culture, emphasizing activities that are inclusive, respectful, and beneficial for society. Non-disruptive celebrations such as charity events, social initiatives, and fan gatherings can foster a sense of unity and promote a positive image of fandom.

Fans can channel their enthusiasm in more responsible ways, such as organizing special screenings, conducting charity drives, or engaging in community service projects. By focusing on these avenues, fans can create a positive impact while celebrating their favorite stars without causing harm, inconvenience, or violating safety protocols.
