Kangana Ranaut calls PM Modi ‘most powerful man’, wishes him on his birthday

In order to wish Prime Minister Narendra Modi a happy birthday, Kangana Ranaut, who has been hard at work filming her upcoming movie Emergency, posted a message on Instagram on Saturday. On September 17, he turned 72. Along with a lengthy birthday message, the actor shared an old photo of the pair at an occasion. As she wished PM Modi, Kangana Ranaut referred to him as the “most powerful man on our earth.” He was “immortal,” she continued.

“Happy birthday, honourable Prime Minister @narendramodi,” she posted beside a picture of herself and the PM on Instagram Stories. What a remarkable journey—from being a young boy serving tea on train stations to becoming the most powerful person on the globe… We wish you a long, long life, but you are immortal like Gandhi, Rama, and Krishna. Now permanently ingrained in the minds of this country and others. You’ll be in love always. Your legacy cannot be destroyed, which is why I refer to you as an avatar. We are fortunate to have you as our leader.

The image Kangana posted was taken in 2018, when she and lyricist Prasoon Joshi got the opportunity to meet PM Modi at a gathering in Delhi. I am a big Modi admirer because of his success story, the actor had added at the occasion while wearing a floral saree. As a young woman, I do think it’s important to have positive role models. Whenever we have a prime minister who is a chaiwala (tea vendor), I always remark that it is not his win but rather the victory of our democracy. By this, I mean the graph and the aspiration of an average man. He strikes me as the ideal role model.

Kangana will portray the late Indira Gandhi in her next film Emergency, which also stars Anupam Kher as J P Narayan, Mahima Chaudhry as Pupul Jayakar, Shreyas Talpade as Atal Bihari Vajpayee, and Milind Soman as Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw. Kangana wrote and directed the movie Emergency. Kangana and Renu Pitti are the producers of the movie. Ritesh Shah wrote the dialogue and the screenplay.

Family Star review

The Hindustan Times’ review of the movie Family Star, starring Vijay Deverakonda and directed by Parasuram Petla, suggests that the film struggles to make a mark or entertain, with issues reminiscent of Geetha Govindam (2018). The film tests patience and fails to maintain interest as it progresses.

The review criticizes the plot of Family Star, stating that it is thin and defies logic, making it difficult to enjoy. It also suggests that the film’s portrayal of middle-class life is caricaturish, as if it was written by someone unfamiliar with the realities of such a life.
