According to reports, Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE has begun to receive MIUI 12.5 enhanced version in India. The user is posting screenshots of receiving updates on Twitter. In addition to Indian users, it is reported that Turkish users have also received the MIUI 12.5 enhanced version update on their Mi 11 Lite 5G NE. The firmware version is said to be V12.5.4.0.RKOINXM users in India and V12.5.4.0.RKOTRXM in Turkey. The MIUI 12.5 enhanced version update is based on the Android 11 software.

As mentioned earlier, users have posted screenshots on Twitter of receiving the MIUI 12.5 enhanced version update on their Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE smartphone. The update size listed is 479MB. The change log shared by RMUpdate.com shows that the update introduces fast performance that can extend the life between charges. It also introduces a new focusing algorithm that can dynamically allocate system resources according to specific scenarios to ensure a smooth experience. The MIUI 12.5 update also brings atomized memory, a better memory management mechanism and a new liquid storage mechanism, allowing the system to remain responsive over time. Finally, the update also brings improvements to the core system.

It is recommended that Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G network element users do not download updates through third-party links, and wait for updates to arrive through OTA. You can also manually check in the settings menu to see if the update has arrived. It is also recommended to download the update when the phone is connected to a stable Wi-Fi signal and fully charged. Recall that Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE was unveiled in India in September. It starts at Rs. 26,999, available at offline stores of Mi.com, Amazon and Mi Home. In terms of specifications, the Mi 11 Lite 5G NE is equipped with a 6.55-inch full HD + (1,080×2,400 pixels) 10-bit flat polymer OLED true-color display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is driven by Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC, with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

For photos and videos, the Mi 11 Lite 5G NE is equipped with a triple rear camera setup, which includes a 64-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 5-pixel telephoto macro camera. The Mi 11 Lite 5G NE is equipped with a 20-megapixel selfie camera sensor on the front.
