T20 WC: India-Pak match tickets sold out within 5 minutes of going on sale

The 2022 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup was so exciting, the general ticket allocation for both match days sold out on the first day it went on sale to the public. General ticket allocations have been sold at MCG for India v Pakistan on October 23 and South Africa v Bangladesh and India v Group A runners-up on October 27 at SCG. This comes after 200,000 tickets were sold during pre-sale for 45 games in Australia. Later this year, October 16th to November 13th.

That’s what it takes to see one of the biggest rivalries in world cricket, with India’s allotment of the Pakistan match sold within five minutes of launch.

More than 800,000 fans are expected to attend the Men’s T20 Cricket Global Showcase when it first arrives in Australia, and fans still have plenty of opportunities to secure seats in all other matches on sale.
