In their two films together, actors Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna had fantastic chemistry. Along with the dating rumours, they later on developed into close friends in real life. Vijay recently attended the pre-release music event for the Telugu movie Sita Ramam, in which Rashmika plays a significant role, and his remark caused Rashmika to blush.

The makers of the show recently released a promo video in which Vijay praises Rashmika Mandanna’s appearance. “Rashmika, you always look so beautiful and lovely so… I don’t know why, but whenever I mention your name, everyone starts laughing,” Vijay said, making Rashmika blush and the audience go wild.

In the most recent episode of Koffee With Karan, Ananya Panday, Vijay’s Liger co-star, joined him. Karan questioned Vijay about rumours that he was dating Rashmika during the show. Vijay answered, “At a very young age in my life, we collaborated on two films. I adore her and think she is adorable. We have a great friendship. Through movies, we can share a lot of highs and lows. A connection is made.” He added that he doesn’t want to reveal his romantic status because he doesn’t want to hurt his fans’ feelings.

However, Ananya gave a very strong hint regarding Rashmika and Vijay’s romantic relationship. During the rapid-fire round, Ananya was asked about Vijay’s romantic situation. She made a play on words and responded, “He seems to be rushing to see Mika Singh, in my opinion. Get it.” Karan understood the humour Ananya was using and added, “Oh he is in a hurry to meet Mika,” as she continued to laugh. Ananya simply responded “Yes” when Vijay asked her if she agreed.

In the 2018 movie Geetha Govindam and the 2019 movie Dear Comrade, Vijay and Rashmika co-starred. The two were seen together at a Mumbai restaurant last year.
